About Me

I am a Licensed Psychologist with over 25 years of clinical experience, most of it in private practice, providing psychotherapy, clinical and forensic assessment, as well as clinical supervision, consulting to agencies and workshops. Over the years I provided play and sand therapy for children and families with attachment difficulties and C-PTSD, psychotherapy for teens and adults, and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy as a certified EFT Therapist. I have also provided creative wellness groups and workshops for teens and adults.

Currently, my primary professional focus is offering knowledgeable and compassionate clinical supervision to early-career and seasoned therapists wanting to obtain licensure in their discipline, to enhance their effectiveness as a counselor, and to hone assessment, diagnostic and treatment planning skills. I am also passionate about helping therapists decrease stress throughout their days in order to avoid compassion fatigue with creative and simple tools and workshops called Replenish: Shed the Stress™.

I live in Chapel Hill, NC and with my husband and our Plott Hound Roscoe, and enjoy long walks, weight lifting, watercolor painting, cooking, and reading. Pittsburgh, Pa is my hometown, where I lived until moving to sunny North Carolina in 2006 with my family. Yes, I still root for the Steelers, but I think I just might be catching the college basketball fever!
