You Are Not Alone
Are you weighed down with sadness, shame, anxiety and worries or loneliness? In times like this it helps to remember that you are not alone.
. . . for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation. Is 12:2
You will find strength in God. This doesn’t mean, however, that you will no longer feel these painful feelings.
It does mean that God will walk with you through these feelings and give you the strength you need to arrive on the other side.
And, you will no longer be the same . . . you will be transformed.
You will be stronger.
You will feel God’s love for you more than you do now.
You will know yourself better because you will see yourself more as God sees you.
You will have become more of the person God has created you to be.
You will feel more freedom and confidence.
The next time you suffer, you will have a little wisdom way deep inside you that you are not alone – you will remember that God is walking there right beside you in love. You will remember, if even a little, that you will survive and you will be transformed.
In what ways do you reach out to God to know you are not alone?
